Established in 2003, the Papacapim Pizzaria and Tapioca Shop is located in a charming old house built in the 1940s in the Gracas neighborhood. A priviledged location of almost 1,400 m2 of landscaping, gardens, and a small waterfall, the Papacapim is a natural escape in the middle of Recife. The pleasant surroundings, in harmony with nature, are a perfect compliment to the delicious pizzas made in the wood-burning oven, the crepes, and the speciality salads. There is seating for 240 within the restaurant. Either outside in the open air, excellent for happy hour or a good beer, or underneath a charming covering made of native palms complete with large dining tables. With its unique musical selection and attentive service, the Papacapim was chosen by VEJA Magazine Recife as the best pizza place in 2004/2005. In addition, the restaurant has parking for 40 vehicles and a children's playground.
